WHAT IS WEIRD WORLD, AND
WHAT IS A TIM HOLLIS?
Author Tim Hollis is well known for his books on pop culture history and the museum of pop culture relics he has in his home. But before any of that, beginning when he was seven years old, he created his own cast of cartoon characters and gave them a country of their own ... Weird World. Between 1971 and 1980, he wrote nearly 800 stories featuring these characters (some good, some not so much), and now they have made yet another comeback, this time in a web TV series classified as a "kids' show for grownups."
Hollis created his
first original
character, Turk
the Blue Turkey,
in 1970.
In his museum, Hollis explains the evolution
of some of his characters to Muscles
Mahogany (Ginny Posey).

MEET THE CHARACTERS
HANGSCHWARTZ
is the cowardly
ruler and founder
of Weird World.
KRINKLESNYDE, the
evil green kangaroo, is
constantly plotting new ways to take over the country.
MIGHTY MILKSHAKE is one of Hangschwartz's two bodyguards who are tasked with foiling Krinklesnyde's evil plans.
MUSCLES MAHOGANY, the other bodyguard, gets her phenomenal strength from eating protein bars.
Dim bulb HORATIO HIPPO is one of dozens of other cartoon characters living in Weird World.

MIGHTY MILKSHAKE is portrayed in the series by BRICE SWINDLE
MUSCLES MAHOGANY, as played by Ginny Posey, serves as Hollis's co-host of the Weird World series.
Even Mahogany's mother, MUSCLES MOM (Kimberly White) will show up occasionally.
Mahogany's hillbilly friends BERTHY MAE BICEPS (left, played by Danielle Hardaman) and LULU LEGS (right, played by Alyza Northrup) sometimes come down from the Smoky Mountains to help out with the show!
TIMID TIANA
(Mikquala Skelton) wants
to be a singer on the show, but will she have the nerve?
Poor little DORKY DAISY (Daisy Middleton) has an awful time with bullies at school ... but we think Mahogany can help her deal with that problem!
And then, there is SUPER BRAT (Zoe Lassiter), who is determined to take over Mahogany's job as co-host. Do you think she will?
One of Dorky Daisy's tormentors is played by Aiden Dagnan. Doesn't he look mean as a snake?
